RUAHINE RANGES

This morning I went for a drive along SH50 between Takapau and Hastings to try and find some fresh snow.  To be honest I was a little disappointed, I expected to see far more of the fluffy white stuff, especially on the Ruahine's.

Here's the view which greeted me down one of the gravel roads I went down.  The weather was slowly  moving in, so I didn't linger too long...

THE VILLAGE EXCHANGE - 360° VIRTUAL TOUR

Here's a 360° virtual tour of the Village Exchange Development which I shot earlier this week.

Great to see a construction workers eye view of the development.  Please click on the red hotspots to view additional images.  Since this post was published, I have added additional aerial images also.

At this time the tour only works on PC and Mac's, iPhone and Android devices aren't currently supported... Please bear with me on this!

EDIT: Pleased to now be able to say that this should now work on iPhone and Android devices.  If you should happen to have any issues, please leave me a comment below or contact me directly by using the contact page.

THE SLEEPING GIANT

#TeMataPeak #HawkesBay #LoveHawkesBay

A few weeks ago I was contacted by a Kiwi lady living in the UK who is in the midst of setting up a new website.

She was looking for an image of Te Mata Peak which depicted 'The Sleeping Giant' in profile.  I had a couple of recce trips and did a Google Streetview search to try and find the best location to shoot from.

My brief was to to have a moody sky and the typical Hawkes Bay summer coloured landscape, without too much green.

I first of all gave my client this image, but ended up providing a panoramic image who's proportions are better suited a website banner.

For those of you who aren't familiar with Te Mata Peak and the Maori legend, check out this link... The Legend of Te Mata

Hope you like!
