PhotoNews: October 2014

Hi everyone,

Welcome to the first bi-monthly edition of PhotoNews.  Here you'll find some info about what I've been up to recently, and what's planned for the future of SCP.

Please subscribe to the PhotoNews newsletter and watch this space for the latest SCP news!

Real Estate

Following on from recent meetings I've had with real estate agents regarding photographing properties which are to be advertised, I decided that I needed a brochure which could be given to each agent which would advertise my services.

I gave one of our local Graphic Designers, Bex Bloomfield from Little Red Robot ( a call and set the wheels in motion.  The brochures went to print in September and have now been distributed to several local agencies with more to follow in due course.

If you are a Real Estate agent and would like a copy of the brochure, please contact me.

In September we took a family trip down to the Manawatu to see some friends.  This also proved to be an ideal opportunity to get the camera out and shoot some real estate for a private vendor in Palmerston North.  Below are a couple of the images which I shot.

Twilight shot taken at the rear of the property.

Since taking these shots, the vendors have now accepted an offer and are looking forward to move into their new home.

I have also recently shot images for Property Brokers, who are one of the major players in the NZ real estate world.  I'm really looking forward to working with Property Brokers in future!

RDCL Website Headshots

In September, local Geotechnical Engineering company, RDCL's new headshot images went live on their website.  These images were shot at the RDCL office in Havelock North on the day of their AGM, thus ensuring that the majority of their employees were available to be photographed.

Local web agency, Xplore did a great job of originally producing, and then updating the website. Check them out and see how they can help you!

Wall Creations

Some time ago I joined forces with Australian company, Wall Creations as one of their featured photographers.  A selection of my landscape images are available to use as full size wall murals and I'm going to add more images to the collection soon.
