Product Photography for Boyce Podiatry

I recently photographed some foot care products for Boyce Podiatry in Havelock North for inclusion on their website.

With product photography, accurate colour representation is critical. Designers who design a product colour scheme and packaging expect a true representation of the colour palette when marketing and advertising photography is undertaken.

To ensure I achieve accurate colour representation for my clients, I use a colour calibrated monitor for processing my images, this is checked and re-calibrated regularly.  It is also important to use correctly colour profiled editing software which takes into account any given lighting scenario or white balance, I.e. studio lighting, daylight, tungsten lighting, etc. and the camera/ lens combination used.

If you wish to discuss photography for your own products, please give me a ring on 021 0824 6455 or email me here

Little Green Bus... On the Lindis Pass...

Continuing on our trip around the South Island in April, here's one of my last images from the trip. I still have more from earlier in the trip, but as of yet haven't got round to sorting and processing them.

This image was shot from a layby at the summit of Lindis Pass on our way back to Christchurch.  A vastly different landscape to the temperate rainforest of Millford Sound and the surrounding area where we stayed only a few days prior.  This landscape had a very Martian feel!
